Sadly, as you might have noticed, Songs From Treme isn’t happening this season.  There are a a few reasons for this.  The largest: I no longer have easy access to HBO, so I’m not actually watching the show (plus, let’s be honest: shit was kind of boring.  Can’t say I’ve been missing it).

Secondly, in November, I canceled my emusic subscription after they changed their content and pricing.  So getting the new music would have been more expensive.  I’m also a little busier this year and didn’t feel like the hassle.

If you’re interested in the music on Treme, there are an assload of places on the internet that share and discuss it.  I recommend just getting the song lists from HBO.com and searching youtube.

But to answer your question: Yes.  I will continue to post songs on tumblr.  The last thing I posted on tumblr was a song.  They just won’t be songs from Treme.
